Nestled on a 10-acre property in Serra Retreat, Lauren transformed this 750-square-foot farm cabin without expanding its footprint. She replaced the sliding glass doors with steel casement windows salvaged from another structure on the farm, creating a more authentic ambiance and offering views of the horse paddock from the kitchen sink. To accommodate the couple's love of hosting, Lauren designed the kitchen to wrap around the entire home, creating an ideal space for a prominent dining table. The choice of a timeworn, live-edge piece from France further affirmed this layout, as its sculptural beauty truly deserves center stage. Her styling choices seamlessly blend English countryside charm with relaxed California luxury, crafting a space that honors the couple’s heritage while showcasing their festive life together.
