A bohemian Treehouse suspended amongst the Sycamore trees.
Tucked alongside the creek of Las Flores Canyon, this transformed beach cabin became a dream retreat. The challenge was to create three distinct areas–living, working, and dining–within one expansive room. Leveraging the A-Frame ceiling, we divided the space into two zones: a cozy living area and a dining nook fit for hosting, with a workstation positioned on either side of the peak for each sister. Embracing the original knotty-pine paneling, we chose mid-century furniture that seamlessly blends with the warm wood, modernizing the space while visually expanding it. Every piece was carefully sourced secondhand.
